She's done now, except the paperwork and first flight. I think she looks
very nice.
From this view you can see that I achieved one of my objectives, which was to
have a clean presentation to the airstream. Unlike stock, and other 450 Stearman,
I have no protruding air intake, no dangling oil cooler, no obtrusive cowl scoop,
and clean, faired exhaust.

I think she came out OK. I know there will be a penalty for being without wheel pants, but I really like the open-wheel look, and there are many practical concerns as well. The bare tire is used all the time as a step, for example.
No, its not the fog - the top wings ARE very dirty! Off to the wash rack we go.
